2024 February Presentation to Worthing Soup Kitchen

February 2024, Worthing Lions who are members the Welfare committee met the Worthing Soup Kitchen.

Worthing Lions presented the WSK with a cheque for £500 - this was delayed from before Christmas and also delivered the Easter goodies, many Easter eggs, ready to be given out to those in need in the Worthing area.

Worthing Soup Kitchens Khristina spoke to us in depth about the aims, the struggles and everything else. She happily answered our questions. We are looking forward to the new community fridge opening just over the road from the cafe.

The attending Worthing Lions were treated like royalty- copious amounts of hot drinks, hot cross buns and biscuits.

Worthing Soup Kitchen later said:
