2022 Bonfire night Fireworks
November 2022, On Saturday 5th November Worthing Lions held their bonfire night fireworks. The fireworks were set of at 7:45pm from the end of Worthing Pier by Selstar Fireworks Ltd despite the torrential rain.
The Worthing Lion danced with the Samba band accompanied by children. The Lion hopes to be dry soon, ready for our Christmas activities.
A massive thank-you must go to Selstar for a great show and the Worthing TCI for their fantastic sponsorship of the event, and all the support staff that helped to bring this event to you
Thank you to all bucket collector volunteers and Lions members and who helped make this a wonderful event enjoyed by Worthing.
The beaches, promenade and streets were packed by those who came to see the fireworks.
Coles Funfairs provided entertainment before during and after the firework display whilst Celebration Samba performed before the fireworks on the Worthing Pavilion steps.
Worthing Lions made no charge for watching the fireworks, the cost of the fireworks was covered by the Town Centre Initiative and Worthing Lions. So please help us support more people in the Worthing area by donating.
The fireworks were a great hit with many including these people:
