President presents the cheques

August 2023,

Worthing Lions provided support and a welcome to the bowlers from VIBE competing in the National Triple championship held in Worthing at the Worthing Bowling Club. 

During the 3 day event Worthing Lions provided daily refreshments and lunches on each day. Many thanks to Morrisons in Worthing who helped us provide the lunches.

Thanks to Lions Kathy, Audrey and Kenneth and Friend of the Lions Melanie for their dedication over the 3 days. Whilst Lions Henna, Lin, John and Friend of the Lions Sheila helped serve lunches to the bowlers.

Worthing Lions vice president Linda presented the winning team, Metro A, with medals and a trophy.

Worthing Lions then presented a donation cheque for £500 to Visually Impaired Bowls England (V.I.B.E.) to support their activities.

Worthing Lions have been assisting for the last ten years since assisting at the World championship in 2012 was held in Worthing
