Worthing Lions are proud to have planted flowerbed number 42 on Worthing Promenade on Friday 29th May 2022.

The plants are small but will with care grow into a yellow, white and blue display.

In 2014 the Worthing Town Centre Initiative started the Seafront Planting Competition where groups and organisations adopt a flowerbed and look after it during the summer.

We would like to thank Worthing Borough Council for their support with this project and Ferring Nurseries for supplying some fabulous flowers. The Worthing Town Centre Initiative organises the competition and provides £30 worth of flowers per bed as well as funding the prize money to instil a sense of pride for Worthing and to ensure the Seafront looks amazing.
