How it works – easyfundraising.org.uk helps charities to raise money when their supporters shop online. So far they have raised £4million to help good causes in the UK. It costs you nothing!

It works on a similar way to loyalty shopping sites but instead of earning points you raise a donation for Worthing Lions instead.

You have to register and when you shop with one of their retailers, their system makes a note of the purchase, collects the donation from the retailer and passes it to your chosen charity (in our case Worthing Lions). There is no cost to Worthing Lions as their service is free.

You can shop in over 2,000 stores including John Lewis, Amazon, Body Shop etc etc.

Interested? Now go to www.easyfundraising.org.uk and follow the “Get started” instructions – its as easy as that.

Is your home cluttered with things you no longer need?

Things that are too good to throw into a landfill site, but you know you'll never use them?

If you answered yes to any of these questions then donate to Worthing Lions.

The Lions are always looking for people. No matter how much we get in money or goods it's all of no use without people to organise it's distribution to the correct causes. We accept requests for help from many sources and we filter them in our monthly business meetings.

If you have recently purchased a new set of glasses then maybe you have a set that is now redundant. Opticians sell hundreds of new pairs of glasses each year and we can use the old ones. We collect them in large quantities and each month we send them to a sorting centre where they are sorted and distributed to those in need throughout the third world. Have you just helped a child to learn to read?

It's a common myth that only the rich and famous leave money to charity when they die. This couldn't be any further from the truth. The reality is without the gifts left in Wills by people like you, many of the charities we know and support today wouldn't even exist. Charitable legacies are the foundation for many good causes in the UK and are vital in continuing their work.

Thankfully 74% of the UK population support charities and when asked, 35% of people say they'd happily leave a gift in their Will once family and friends had been provided for. The problem is only 7% actually do.

So, you don't have to be rich and famous to make a contribution that can make a difference. We can all do something amazing for the world just by remembering our favourite charity when writing a Will.

If you cannot find a way to donate above then contact us.

THANK YOU

If you have donated to the Worthing Lions, in any way at all, then please let us say Thank You. Without your donations people wouldn't have received the help they needed.

Please remember that we have no paid staff at Worthing Lions. We can only help others if you are willing to help us. We need money. We need things we can sell. We need your time. Please donate something to help local people who, through no fault of their own, are in need.
